2024 WINNERS

It's time for our annual Spirit of Comics Bookmark Design Competition for Manatee and Sarasota County students!
Show us what you think the Spirit of Comics is! Whether that's finding your place in a book or character. Learning to love reading. Helping your community like a superhero. Or just celebrating pop culture! We want to see what you come up with.
It's free to enter! Just download the form in the PDF file below and return it to the store by March 31, 2025 to enter.
Winners will be selected in April in the following categories:
Grades PK-2
Grades 3-5
Middle School (6-8 Grades)
High School (9-12 Grades)
Winners will have their bookmarks printed and handed out during summer reading. They will also receive copies of their bookmarks for their friends and family, as well as a Bat City gift certificate!
You can also stop by the store to pick up a copy of the form or create it while you're there!
We can't wait to see what the Spirit of Comics means to you!
