Expand your curriculum with our Educator and Student Workshops!
Our Educator workshops help teachers learn how they can incorporate comics into their lesson plans. From English to History and beyond, comics have been proven to help students improve their mastery of topics such as inference and evidence, social justice issues, historical context, literary analysis, and mastery of new words and literary terms. Participating teachers will receive their own resource guide to keep in their classroom or share with administrators and parents.
Student workshops teach the basics of writing and art for ages five to college! Participating students learn how to take an idea from concept to completion all while mastering the elements of writing in the process. Reading workshops are also available and be custom designed using pop culture texts and media to help your students master difficult concepts.
Other school-wide activities are also available, including: reading enthusiasm rallies, booktalks, school book fairs, art fairs, comic trivia bowls, superhero academy, and comic cons.

Need help gathering the supplies for your classroom? We can help!
Each year we select an educator who demonstrates a love for literacy and learning to their students and donate items needed for their classroom. We know it's hard to ensure all the supplies you need are readily available at the beginning of the year, so we want to help you kick of the year right.
Educators are selected during the summer. Parents and faculty can nominate teachers throughout the year by emailing Shannon: firstname.lastname@example.org
